Bank identity (BankID)

If you use internet banking of one of the following supported banks and don’t use another identification method, this option will probably be the simplest for you.

BankID is a free and secure service that ensures a simple method of identity verification by using a login which you already have for your banking (the details differ for each bank).

For the information on BankID availability and login possibilities, select the section with your preferred bank.

Česká spořitelna, a.s.

Access to BankID from ČS is available to all clients who use the internet banking George.

The login options are the same as for George:

  • Mobile application George key (PIN, fingerprint, or face ID)
  • Password and an SMS confirmation
  • Voice verification (calling to a contact centre)

Komerční banka, a.s.

BankID is automatically activated for all clients of KB who use the internet banking MojeBanka.

The login options are the same as for MojeBanka:

  • KB mobile application key (PIN, fingerprint, or face ID)
  • Password and an SMS confirmation
  • Certificate on the chip card

Air Bank, a.s.

BankID has been automatically activated for all Air Bank clients who have visited a branch of the bank and verified their identity with an ID since March 2021.

If you are not sure whether your BankID has been activated, we would recommend you check it in your internet banking account in the section Settings > Security > Bank Identity. You can also call the support line.

The login options are the same as for your internet banking:

  • My Air CZ mobile application (PIN, fingerprint, or face ID)
  • If you scan a QR code, you can log in without password

ČSOB, a.s.

In order to use BankID for ČSOB, you will first need to activate it either online, or in person at one of the bank’s branches.

For online activation, you will need to log in to your internet banking and follow the steps described at the ČSOB webpage .

Unlike other banks providing BankID, ČSOB requires a separate login credentials registration to activate this service. Therefore, it is not the login that you use to access your internet banking, but you will need to enter the newly created login at ČSOB Identity Portal, to which you will be redirected after choosing this identification method.

The login options are the same as for George:

  • George mobile application key (PIN, fingerprint, or face ID)
  • Password and SMS confirmation
  • Voice verification (calling to a contact centre)

MONETA Money Bank, a.s.

In order to use BankID from MONETA Money Bank, it is necessary to activate it. You can check its status in the section Settings in the internet banking.

The login options are the same as for the internet banking:

  • MONETA Smart Banka mobile application (PIN, fingerprint, or face ID)
  • It is necessary to confirm the login with either an SMS, or a push notification (based on your preference)
